We ordered on Saturday 9th May 2026, rang through the order at 2:06pm , rang back with my complaint at 2:35pm.
Girl that answered the phone tried to make it feel like it was my fault and said I should have been more specific.
We recently ordered from here and unfortunately had a very disappointing experience this time. When placing my order, I specifically requested a chicken yiros with lettuce, cheese and garlic sauce ONLY, as I am allergic to tomato. Despite being very clear and her repeating my order back to me, the yiros still came with onion and tomato.
After calling to raise the issue, I was told that I “wasn’t specific enough,” which was frustrating considering I had clearly said “only lettuce, cheese and garlic sauce.” Food allergies should be taken seriously, and dismissing a customer’s concern in that way was disappointing.
We’ve ordered from here before and previously had great food and service, which makes this experience even more unfortunate. On this occasion, the chicken also seemed very soft and lacked the usual fresh hotplate texture, almost as though it had been reheated.
Really disappointed this time and hoping more care is taken with customer orders in future.
My husband had 2 lamb yiros's and he was disappointed and said they were sloppy and soft and in his words were, "well that was a waste of money"
I did get offered a new yiros if I went back, but I shouldn't have to drive all the way back.TTamara Thomson I stayed in Port Elliot for one night and upon doing research on local eateries, The Chicken Run immediately stuck out. …
BBrad French Absolutely nail it— The chicken is juicy and the crumb just right. Friendly, fast staff and a casual vibe that feels as relaxed as Port Elliot beach days.
Solid value and great for a quick, tasty takeaway.
Will be back for more hot packs and chips drenched in gravy!JJoshua Sandman Juat average. The chicken was ok. The chips over cooked and almost hollow. I ordered 1/4 chicken, chips and gravy. Turned out to be drowned in gravy. If you do go get the gravy on the side.
MMarc Denovan Delicious chicken and the chips were to die for! Topped off with an excellent view for dinner.
