  • During our recent stay on the Fleurieu Peninsula, we dropped into Port Elliot for a walk around the historic precinct.
    As it was close to lunchtime, we decided to have a meal at the Boulangerie 113 Cafe.
    We discovered it has a range of sweet pastries, hot foods and toasted sandwiches to choose from. Drinks ranged from the usual coffees, teas, water, milkshakes and soft drinks.
    We chose a vegetarian pastie, chicken pie and toasted ham & cheese sandwich to eat. Drinks we selected were an iced coffee and a skinny chocolate milkshake.
    Our drinks were delivered shortly after ordering and the food followed soon after. All of the food items were excellent! The pastie and pie were delicious: multigrain pastry and full of tasty filling. The toasted sandwich was excellent as well.
    Service was top notch. It is great to experience hospitality staff that appreciate ones custom and with a smile!
    This cafe is a great quiet spot in Pt. Elliot to have a chat, drink, some food and relax. Highly recommended.

  • We had been to this location on at least 3 previous occasions without issue.
    Going by another review, if the previous manager was unpopular, then at least they knew about customer service.
    Today we walked in and approached the counter behind which there were 2 staff involved in making 2 coffees.
    No acknowledgement from either of the staff, one of which passed us 3 times.
    An earlier customer came back in to complain that he had been given the wrong product and was acknowledged immediately.
    Needless to say, we left.
    Visited 2 other locations that day and were enthusiastically greeted by busy staff as soon as we walked in.
    Was asked to give a rating before posting this review- wanted to give a zero but unfortunately had to give at least one star!

  • During winter time cafe likes to wrapp up by 3pm and why shouldn't they as trading is slow and they make up for it in summer when they are working flat out, so drop in before early afternoon not to be disappointed, but many places are …

  • Love the bread selection and knowledgeable staff. Recommend dining in or take away, the croissants are huge, and coffee is great. As a local it’s my favourite. A little secret…it’s usually not as busy as the other end of the street, easier parking too.
